We put the Yamaha mid height on. BUT then laid the stock over it on the outside to maintain the look of the stock and it does look a lot better that way IMO. Stock screws are long enough to do this (even tho they are those lousy torx things). We also have windshield bag with the holders under the windshield mounts ane the stock screws are still long enough. Installed as well Yamaha hand guards AND the hand guard wind deflectors over them and they clear this windshield setup.

I'm out of Town for few days, but will post some pics next week on this thread. Just installed 3 Frogzskins on the exhaust side to help cool the turbo intake. 3 weeks ago took a short ride from Bracebridge Ontario to Menno South Dakota (2000k's each way) to have Allen Ulmer install his clutching on my Hurricane 190. Also changed the gearing again (originally 21/49-90, then 24/50-92, now 24/46-90). Runs out of gear on the dyno at about 125 MPH (so should see over 115mph on the snow) ...... much better now. I hate the cold and the "gauge warmer" they sell us is useless if you ride fast in cold weather. So the high windshield with the "gauge warmer" over top works and IMO looks pretty good (and the hand protectors also clear all of this. I never need heavy gloves. Have the OSP A/F and Boost gauges also installed behind windshield. Onlyd thisn I need to do now is get the "Muffin" knee guards (the Yamaha ones are OK for standing but useless when sitting as your knees are outside the pads).

Millstreet, thats the same one I just put on mine. Its a Cat LXR mid #6606-666 may or may not have to drill the nose holes. Not to tall and deflects the wind off my hands just fine. If I duck, I can get the wing to blow right over me now. I mainly wanted to get the wind off my chest and this has been perfect.

get the one for the 2014-2016 xf7000 cross tour. It comes with the mirror holes (mirrors sold separately). The part number is 6606-722 windshield and mirrors 6639-630 it will bolt right on. Very warm.

Thanks tapex_07 for the part number, that will help my search!! The windshield looks good and if it deflect that much, it's better than the "toothpick in the wind" that came with the viper! I'm in northern Canada, so our warm days are -11c and cold ones are -29c (I'm too old to sled after -30c). I already have ROX for my hands, but the windshield will help as well.

millstreet - Did you do anything with those front holes near the headlight (any modifications, or did you not have issues as you stated in your previous post with blue & white viper)? Thanks for posting another picture - looks good.

No Issues, the wings atop the cowl don't line up, just leave them where they land, works perfect.millstreet - Did you do anything with those front holes near the headlight (any modifications, or did you not have issues as you stated in your previous post with blue & white viper)? I didn't bother with the handguards on this one, not needed.

Have the same sport windshield as ollllo with the same Yamaha hand guards (aluminum mounts). The set up works well, plus it looks good. Always could use more coverage but its all about the looks ........LOL

That is the same as what I'm looking at sledgadget, is that the 6606-666 arctic cat model (I think they list it as LTX - which is a mid height). Looks good & your sled is the same colour as mind. I also noticed the cargo bag you had on there, similar to millsteet - how do you find it? Trying to see if I drop my Dakine pack and get a cargo bag (although my 8 yr-old still wants to ride with me, so am considering a aftermarket two-up seat by Rototeck Titan...

That is not the Cat LXR windy.
