Is Yamaha kidding me? I was really excited about the sleds until I seen that price tag. I also noticed that they dropped the floats on the Le to

Even the decked out XRS is over $1,300 less, I noticed that they took down all the 17 that were up and you can only see 16 so maybe the pricing was wrong hopefully

But I do see that the LEhas the top notch shocks, the shocks alone are worth the $1,300 up charge over the SE in my opinion

After all the hype I am seriously let down.
I'm not shocked at the pricing. Last years Cat Turbo RR which comes with the best shock package offered was 16.2 k USA MSRP. It's insane what sleds cost these days especially considering the quality from EVERY manufacturer for the money spent.

So it's better to buy a $13500 viper and Adda $4000 turbo to it, with no factory warranty?

I don't know where you get your info from, you can get a warranty if you buy it from Yamaha and have your dealer install it. I bet there is a good chance you will get steep discount on a 16 RTX now that the 17 are out so say you get a 16 for 11 K and add the $3,500 turbo you are at 45 plus install so it would be close whether or not to go with a 16 and add the turbo if you are allowed or just buy a new 17. As far as being disappointed, I am NOT. I like the idea of a brand new 180 + horsepower sled plus the LE gets very good shocks better than last years in my opinion especially in the rearSo it's better to buy a $13500 viper and Adda $4000 turbo to it, with no factory warranty?

I was comparing apples to apples. Last year guys were tickles to get a mpi factory installed turbo. Add it up and it comes very close to the sidewinder price. I'm not comparing left overs vs new. I'd much rather have the factory built motor turbo combo than the mpi add on for close to the same money. If you want to compare apples to oranges there are 14 viper left overs for 8500 so with a $4000 turbo they'd be cheaper. May even have better rods than a 16.I don't know where you get your info from, you can get a warranty if you buy it from Yamaha and have your dealer install it. And we have a winner.
Yammie did all the work, gave everyone the engine package with the hp and electronics we all wanted and we all expected the prices to stay the same. Lol
