    New 2017 Yamaha Sleds...

Dry weight has been used for at least the past 30+ years all across the board with Powersports. I've got magazines and owners manuals from the 80's with dry weight listed. It is far and away the best way to determine if a machine is heavy or light as a big gas tank doesn't penalize a machine...

    New 2017 Yamaha Sleds...

How can you be serious? You don't even know the weight of the sidewinder so to say 20-40lbs lighter is a complete farce. The Polaris Axys Pro-RMK 800 is 408 dry. Yes, 408 dry. Yamaha won't even list the weight of their new sled. That's a red flag. I just finished watching the Arctic Cat video...

    New 2017 Yamaha Sleds...

It's cool you like it but what have they done to change the industry? The turbo'd Suzuki 1100 twin has a lot of the same stuff and was released back in the Barney chassis. I've ridden two of them and while they hid their weight better than a Deltabox chassis they were still fricking heavy. I...

    New 2017 Yamaha Sleds...

Wow, this is so boring. Saw the new sled last night and you can't even talk about it on a dedicated Yamaha forum. That is the most bizarre thing I've ever heard of. It isn't something I'd buy anyway so it doesn't really matter. It is still heavy and will be expensive.

I agree, his job is to hype up his website. That said he is a Yamaha guy so there might be hope of something decent. It will be really hard for them to follow the Ski-Doo release. They've been skunked twice already by ski-Doo, first with Rev when the RX-1 was released and second with the Nytro...

    New 2017 Yamaha Sleds...

I agree, it is a Polaris, the mountain strap, pro-taper bars, skis and spindle all look like Polaris parts. It certainly isn't a Yamaha due to the mountain bar alone. Nice find though.

    New 2017 Yamaha Sleds...

Just signed up to the site as I'm curious to see what the new sled will be. I'm honestly not expecting much, I don't like the joint built Yamacats and that is exactly what is coming out. The Arctic Cat style mountain bar that was shown in the first video was a dead giveaway. I'm guessing a new...
