Dry weight has been used for at least the past 30+ years all across the board with Powersports. I've got magazines and owners manuals from the 80's with dry weight listed. It is far and away the best way to determine if a machine is heavy or light as a big gas tank doesn't penalize a machine...
How can you be serious? You don't even know the weight of the sidewinder so to say 20-40lbs lighter is a complete farce. The Polaris Axys Pro-RMK 800 is 408 dry. Yes, 408 dry. Yamaha won't even list the weight of their new sled. That's a red flag. I just finished watching the Arctic Cat video...

I agree, it is a Polaris, the mountain strap, pro-taper bars, skis and spindle all look like Polaris parts. It certainly isn't a Yamaha due to the mountain bar alone. Nice find though.
Just signed up to the site as I'm curious to see what the new sled will be. I'm honestly not expecting much, I don't like the joint built Yamacats and that is exactly what is coming out. The Arctic Cat style mountain bar that was shown in the first video was a dead giveaway.
I'm guessing a new...
