This is normal. A Max 17 with headers is like running 21-22 psi with a stock manifold. Huge gain in power.
the higher flow means the turbo runs more power at lower PSI (extra efficiency).
Boost is maxed unless you start shimming the WG which I do not recommend for now,
You may have talked to Eric our newest team member. It's almost 10hp on stock muffler and 15hp on high flow muffler. Significant gains
Our header is also the only one to increase hp everywhere in the powerband not just the top end.
The gains are more power at the same boost level. More power on pump gas (significant gain). Quicker spool.
Also able to rev higher RPM with the spring package.
Mid 130s is extremely fast.
I'd say pump normal setup 128 good setup 131 mph extremely good setup 133 to 135.
More can be had by a pro team.
Race fuel trail sled... 134 to 138mph with a perfect setup 140 plus.
Race fuel improve race sled stock turbo 145 to 150
Race fuel pro mod.. Mine...
Our headers gains everywhere. Spools up quicker and harder. A true power gain at every rpm big Top speed gain as well.
Well be testing on the dyno soon confirm. But we did many back to back test on snow and ice and performance (gps acceleration) is very noticeable even with a stock muffler...
You can flash back to stock yes no problem. Call us at 1800-549-0246 we may have a few flashers left.
Some of our customers upgrade to Copitrail which is the same but with GPS with trail maps in it and a GPS performance meter integrated.
I seriously doubt you tried a td one...
They are very quiet hard to tell the difference unless side by side... In snow you hear track noise at speed over 20mph nothing else.
Thank you. You are correct in saying it's more than just 2db.
DB reading can be a bit misleading. That's because our ear is more sensitive to certain frequencies.
Any straight through mufflers will have high levels of LOW hz / low frequency noise but fairly low high frequency noise level...
Check with us we have a few used condition TD flashers we used on test sleds we could sell for a discount.

Currently we have a 15% sale going on top of that.
all the T D stage 6 sleds run STM 3VL front and STM back to support this HP.
Stock clutches with proper could work as well but won't perform quite as well.
