    I have looked at this dang wet clutch issue for a few days now. I don't see any serious issues with the clutch shoes or the clutch housing...actually they look fine....especially the housing. The one way bearing was in correct also. But I sat and thought about it and I can't see the clutch...

    Well..I fixed the carb....I replaced the primary sheave, weights and cam...they were toasted....but I have a clutch issue. When I idle, in neutral, the sheaves turn...which they should not. The should be sitting and not turn until a bit of throttle is applied. If I toss it in gear the bike...

    Hmm 44 views and no response......bummer. Well I talked to a different local dealer today ( other than the first one who only said use Yamalube)...and this dealer ( service guy)gave me good recomendations that they use instead of the yamalube.

    Well forget the bolt...I built my own strap wrench....now I can strap wrench anything .....I have 6 feet of strap. That was alot tighter than i expected....I had to put a 2 foot extension on my breaker bar to pop the nut free. Now if anyone has an alternative to "grizzly grease" let me...

    Do I need to go to a Yamaha dealer for a specific grease or...is there a suitable substitute. Also how do you get the primary center bolt outg...without buying the specialty tool from yamaha.     2001 Grizzly 600 top speed loss (clutch)...also carb?

    So first off I have a Grizzly 600 (2001) with about 5k miles on it. Bought it used a while back. Had been moderately maintained....not bad but they could have done better. I was out today and while the engine seemed to have plenty of power the top speed was not there. Maybe I could get 40 mph...
