I’ve heard Weber will be the motor in the Catalyst . Time will tell .
With the Thundercat sitting at $30k plus tax in Canada the Catalyst 4 stroke better be substantially cheaper.
If faster sled is turning less rpm than the slower sled turning more rpm either your gearing or drivers are different or you have clutch issues IMHO .
Or speedo is off
I’ve never personally broke a chain on 998 but seen some broke and also seen when making one longer or shorter the pins are very worn and chain is junk .
136 with 10t drivers works
2.52 pitch is quicker and also provides more bars for studs .
1 in track and 14 in , is ok if your on ice or hard pack, also allows u to run shorter studs for less rotating mass.
All depends on what racing/playing your setting up for

Just looked, 160.25 mph in 1000 feet on the ice, quite sure this was the 998 as well in the hypersports sled
