I've noticed this year after having running it for awhile and getting the engine well warmed up and such when I stop and let it idle I hear...
Yes it did.
I drained all the oil of out the engine, both from the belly pan and the bottom of the oil tank.
I also cleaned out the air breather hose and foam aircleaner while I was at it.
when I drained the oil from the bottom of the engine, only .9 quarts came out... if I left it dripping for for longer maybe a full quart woulda came out.
I put in 2.6 quarts like it said in the manual
just did an oil change. and after I put it all back together I started it up all seemed fine so then I shut it off.
I then noticed that oil was leaking onto the floor from the belly pan.. having a "holy expletive" moment I started taking the front end apart again. and thats when I noticed a huge...
I had this happen to me a couple times. after the oil settles and I'm assuming the computer or sensor resets your "normally" good to go. like Mooseman mentioned if it didn't prime you'd have some bigger problems.
I didn't know they had a bigger tank. perhaps this might be a summer upgrade. did you have any issues with the fitment ? it does just fit under the seat though right?

well I rode all day yesterday in fresh powder to some harder pack paths, and never had a problem with the sled dying or with the code 30 being shown on the screen. I really think it was just bad or old gas.
as for the seafoam.. I did add another full can before I filled it up with premium... but...
well based on what "coffee row" is on discussion, we all think it is the gas too. right now its at 3 bars on the gauge. so on Sunday I'm planning on running to empty. the pouring in another full can of seafoam and then fill it with fresh premium. and see how it goes.
