I'm a die hard yamaha guy but you have to admit that the 1100 Turbo in pearl white will be the coolest looking sled next year. I never thought I'd say that but man ( 177 hp) that's sweet.
I have a '04 Venture 700 and want to keep from bottoming out.I've heard of a spring called ," big boy ," will that work? Or should I use another spring and shock combo ? My wife and I are not heavyweights- I 'm 185 lb and wife is 129 lbs. Thanks
My friends and I are going to the French River area in Ontario and we're wondering if anyone has been there lately and how are the trails. We also wanted to ride over to Killarney. We are not leaving until March 5.
I have a '04 Venture 700 with about 4500 miles. Lately when my wife and I go out on it starts to bottom out after an hours worth of driving. Not really bad but every so often. When I'm by myself, it doesn't. I know what you're thinking... how big is my wife?? She is only about 130lbs. What my...
You're right Lazybastard, I jump all the time and usually land fine. This time the jump was crooked at the start - not a nice even ramp to launch off of. That's the chance you take jumping stuff on the frozen lakes and not checking them out first. :4STroke:
I'm a 41 year old that still thinks he's 21. A couple of days back I was riding with a buddy (we both have Warriors) and we are riding on the ice and I see this nice hump of snow ahead. My first thought is to hit it and get some nice air.So being a 21 year old trapped in a 41 year old body I...
I really wish the yamaha guys would quit saying, " It FEELS 100lbs lighter !" I know it probably does feel that way but I can almost guarentee that right now Ski-doo is printing adds in the next sled mags saying--"Your choice guys, buy Yamaha that FEELS 100lbs lighter or Ski-doo that IS 100lbs...
Before you adjust the linkage, check the bolts on the linkages to make sure they are all tight. I had one bolt in the center of the mechanism loose which caused mine to grind abit.
In Febuary when they show next years models I have a feeling that the new look for the Apex is going to be the Nytro look. I know the centralized mass and all the engineering that is in the Nytro works, and for riding sake, it's probably the better machine vs the Apex. I thought by now the Nytro...
I have an 04 Warrior with 14,480 km and drive it hard. The engine still pulls strong as ever with worry free driving. The only thing I'm getting concerned about is my rear suspension.I've got to keep checking for cracks here and there- yank it out, reweld it put it back in.I like to take jumps...
Would the new style touring seat fit on an Attak? The reason I'm asking is that somtimes my wife and I go away on sled trips and I wanted her to be comfortable, but be able to switch it back to single seat when I'm with the guys when we get back home.We have already tried the "Seat-Jack" and it...
I have a 04 Warrior with 9000 miles.Completely stock - just put a new track on it with studs. I'm thinking of selling it in the fall. What is the going price in Canadian dollars on it. :yam:
