Hi all. I have lost the front idler wheel on my 2005 Venture RS. All the Yamaha dealers in my area are closed on the weekends. The weather here is perfect for riding and I am wanting to go!! Would it be ok to ride without that idler wheel? Thanks to all in advance.
Thanks for responding THKSNOW and 74Nitro. Would I need to remove the shock as well? I removed the bolt (#7) but how do I get the shaft/spacer above the rail to get it off? This may sound dumb, lol, but I am no mechanic when it comes to sleds.
I need to replace one of the front inside idler wheels on my 2005 Venture GT. I have no idea on how to do it. Can anyone out there help or point me in the right direction to download a free service manual? On one pic I circled an area that looks quite worn. Should this be replaced as well?
Hi everyone. I just purchased a 2005 Venture RS and am totally in love with the machine. I want to mount a set of ice scratchers (probably cable style) but there aren't any pre-drilled holes in the rail. So would I just drill a hole in the rail and mount them or am I missing something? Thanks...
