Hi all. I have lost the front idler wheel on my 2005 Venture RS. All the Yamaha dealers in my area are closed on the weekends. The weather here is perfect for riding and I am wanting to go!! Would it be ok to ride without that idler wheel? Thanks to all in advance.

You will see wear in the hyfax in that area.
Cut the wheel off but leave the inside bearing race so the spacing of the shock remains where it should be. I would not go out trying to break any speed records like venture riders like to do,lol. Just keep an eye on the hyfax.

Interesting holes in that rail, especially the left one. Woodpeckers?
