I have a 2006 apex and my RA cable broke and came out while riding, boot is still attached to shock. my question is while riding will the shock leak from the adjuster on the shock? The shock is set to where i ride it 90% of the time, can i still ride it without worring about shock leaking anything?
CaptCaper I have refilled threw the radiator cap several times, r u suggesting I fill threw the other tank, when cold both tanks r empty, when i fill radiator cap tank it stays filled and bubbles come up from bottom (some have suggested bad head gasket are causing bubbles) then when it cools...
ok i refilled, anyone know how much antifreeze the system takes, and could i be losing any threw the head gasket if it was compromised when i overheated?
Yes vx700xtc it did over heat and shut off once, i tried to restart it would not so i towed it home and waited til morning, plugged hole filled system and started right up and idled fine. I replaced exchanger and rode it a couple times having to add a little antifreeze each time
hey guys i have a 2006 apex rtx and i just changed out my front heat exchanger for the second time in two years due to a stud puncture,(what a pain again)i filled up with 50/50 and ran the sled to make sure it was full, my question is that the over flow res is full but not returning back to main...
Just wondering if the track pitch is 2.52 or 2.86 on my 06 apex, and if they are interchangeable, looking at ice attack tracks and they have both available?
Well i hit something on the trail and bent my front heat exchanger and need to replace , question i have is will i have to take drivers out or can i get at all the rivets from the clutch and chaicase sides, doesnt seem to be any rivets at top of exchanger
Thanks yamaha1973, I have heard of the different sleds feeling different when testing and was wondering if they might have had different clutches as well as mapping
Does anyone know if there is a clicker knob that would mount directly to the shock instead of having to use the RA adjuster assembly, would love to eliminate the cable, boot, and tunnel mount adjuster, sled is a 2006 rtx, thx ahead for any help
