Thanks, I was hoping to find the same connector and keep the male side as it looks fine, but I could replace the whole connector.
Also, If I replace the ignition switch it will already have the correct connector..
The Ignition switch plug about 8" from the Ignition switch itself is very corroded, I need a new Female side on that plug to wire in, maybe with pig tails would make it easier.. Does anybody have a link to this plug, It's easy enough to clean the pins on the male side so I don't need to replace...
Hey Yamaha People,
I'm looking for the thin piece of exhaust insulation that is on the underside of the Donut Cover..
Can't find it for sale, is this sold separately ?
08' Nytro FX..
Thanks Much,
-Bill
Is there a wiring diagram for this, it was in the Nytro I bought and some wires pulled out and would like to fix.. It has one box with Rocztoyz.com, rock solid quality written on it, not sure if thats the yamaheater or the booster you mention..
Thanks, I tried loosening the tensioner screws for 1 CLICK and that seemed to do the trick, thanks.. Now for reassembly and I'm installing a custom Aux heat exchanger and water temp gauge... Getting em' done early!!!
Thanks again Srxspec, I thought of loosening the bolts till I hear one click, My concern would be putting it in a detent to far and having the chain to tight..
But a bigger concern would be having it to loose and the chain skipping a beat, sort of speak, before the oil pressure had a chance to...
I was doing my valve shims, all timed and reset the Cam Chain Tensioner, it looked clean no wear, and reset it and installed but it seams like a lot of play in the chain?? I've rotated the engine forward a bunch of times with the sparkplugs out, and the exhaust valve springs will snap the cam...
Maybe it's just me: ( I know it still summer and not many on here... But..)
Looking at the Manual for the timing chain, It says Rotate Clockwise till Piston #3 is at TDC on "Compression Stroke"
But if I look at this diagram in the manual, Intake Cam lobe "c" is in the position that if rotated...
Thanks Ulmer Racing, Actually I just ordered on eBay a 5 pack of 7.48 x 1.75's and a 5 pack of 185's Also HotCam
If I still need any I will let you know... Thanks
Can some recommend a valve shim kit, I only need a 5 or 6 is the 1.65 - 1.85 mm
Hot cams? or AHL Valve shims.. More then 80-90% of the kit I won't need..
Question:
The inside diameter of the water hose is 26mm, I see people posting using an adapter with 18 or 22mm seams like this will restrict to water/coolant flow?
Ahh yes, there are more 26mm ones, the problem i'm having is the sensor is a 10mm x 1.0mm thread.. and all the adapters have 1/8 NPT thread. You wouldn't happen to have a link to a 26mm adapter with 10mm x 1.0 sensor thread would you?
And thanks again..
Thanks for the Koso gauge recommendation.. I looked at that link for a Phazer install..
On the Nytro the hottest coolant hose is the one that goes from the head to the bottom of the thermostat housing, under the throttle bodies.
If you use the input to the radiator it would be only coolant...
