Well after 3 trail rides now i have decided my stock skis on the 04 mountain SUCK!!!!! Dart like crazy and follow grooves way too much. Can I get away with installing different carbides or should I just bite the bullet for a set of simmons??

Yes, the one on top under the main jet itself. I have read where he Guys leave them off with no ill effects?

Got it out, found stainless screw at the hardware store. All 4 are clean, all jets and passages. I left the main jet o rings off. I didn't mess with the air screws. Wondering if I should set them all at 2 turns out or leave them be? My riding is at 5000 ish ft here.

Unfortunately my main toolboxes are in storage. I just have a hobo freight 5 drawer cart here for now, we just moved down here from Washington and my shop won't be built until this spring. The little 2 car garage won't hold my stuff haha. I do like the dremel idea, and yes, I most definitely am...

Well I hit a hangup, carb # 3 float bowl has a stripped screw head. I'm scared to death of drilling it out. I tried different bits but no luck. Taking the rack to work tomorrow hopefully someone will have a neat trick to get it out.

I suppose some crud could have broke loose. I'll pull the carb rack today and see what we find. I'll get some plugs too

It seems like if it were dirty carbs it would have ran like that at the beginning of the day too? It ran really well for the first half.

Ok, I'm thinking about just staying with the spring type that are on there. Already set up for them might as well. I'll pull one off and see if it has any numbers on it. I have no reverse so I should be ok.
