Did a search on here and couldbt find any info. But I'm sure this has been covered many times and many topics. Any remedies for the ice and snow build up for this sled? Was thinking of the Pam spray but figured I mite get a better solution from a some on here. Thanks! Drf
3" pivot with his 4" riser which made it 3" over stock on 2006 Attak. Added mountain apex throttle cable, all is good and the riser adds some cool bling for sure
The sled is an 06 Attak with 07 bars and the new riser is lake effect snow 3" pivot with 4" riser. I have the throttle cable routed perefect but when the bars r locked left or right the tors kicks in and high idle. I would like to buan oem cable because the seem to be better quality. What an...
I took the throttle housing off of the handlbars and I lost the little pin that keeps the housing and thumb throttle from turning on the bars. Any help with this annoyance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Can someone please tell me what the tallest riser is i can add to an Attak without longer cables? Also any suggestions on the best riser? Maybe adjustable.
I tried to do a search and couldnt find anything regarding the subject. I have an 06 Attak and my tunnel protectors are loose, I took off the seat and located the rivets holding the tunnel protectors secure. I am kinda stumped because looking at the rivets I dont see where they ever were tight...

I have an 06 Attak that I took on a 1100 mile trip across the UP last weekend I had 3,000 miles on the sled when I started and well on the way back at over 4,000 miles some how I lost all of my chaincase oil and ruined my gears. I have always put in 8 oz. of Amsoil gear lube and I checked it...

I took my Attak out for a ride the other night and It had snow and ice stuck to the underneath of the tunnel and was sagging way to much in the rear. is this normal for this skid and suspension? I also have the stiffer spring and set to the hardest setting on the dial. Thanks! drf
I was reading last night about the octane recommended for the 4 stroke sleds and I read that 87 octane is the best to use for this engine according to some on this site. The owners manual for my Attak and Vipers read 88 octane or higher could someone explain how 93 octane might hurt my engine...
