    Extended warranty

Hey guys, I have just purchased a new 2011 Apex. I live in Canada, and OUR cost for the additional 2 year Y.E.S warranty is 1000.00$.......I know, were gettin' screwed. My question to all my fellow American sledders is this. If you had to pay our Canadian price (1000$), would you have still...

Apex Gt no go no more ?

Exact same thing happened to me (2006 Apex ER) last year. My driveshat bearing went, ended up taking out the speedometer pick-up. Sled would start and idle, but once it reached engagement, the engine would cut-out. It did however, work slightly in reverse. Try that out and see what happens...

    Inner idler wheels

Hey guys, My inner idler wheels on my 2006 Apex have once again bit the bullet, what aftermarket idlers are you guys using on your sleds? I am tired of the Yamaha ones, they don`t seem to last and are very expensive! Thanks boys!! :4STroke:

    Problem with 2006 Apex GT

Sorry to hear that... but why won' t Y.E.S cover it? I would be raising a stink about that one, isn ' t that why we buy the extended warranty afterall. I realize that a bearing is a wear part, but it appears that the lower bearing is a bad setup to start with, so go ahead a give Yamaha customer...

    Problem with 2006 Apex GT

My 06`Apex ER did the same thing... After taking it to my dealer, they found my driveshaft bearing failed and in turn took out the speedometer gear, that in turn sent a message to the ECU and shut the machine down. My sled would start, but as soon as any load was put on it, the codes and lights...

    ECU Fried!!

Hello everyone, Dealer just called to tell me that it wasn' t my ECU but it appears as though my driveshaft bearing went, that in turn screwed up the speedometer sensor, therefor sending a code to the ECU to stop the snowmobile. The good news is that it' s all going to be covered by the Y.E.S...

    ECU Fried!!

I have done ZERO mods on my sled. I do have the updated '07 handlebars, about the only other thing l can think of is that my temp light came on about 10 minutes before the thing #*$&@ the bucket. Personally I think that these engines produce a great deal of heat in a very enclosed place, and it...

    ECU Fried!!

Goodday to all, on my 6 day trip to the Quebec region last week, my '06 APEX ER let me down. The E.C.U. box fried and completely disabled the sled, warning lights came on with an Error code reading of ERR-1. Checked with the dealer and he relayed that my box was shot!! 1500.00$ to fix...
