In March 2008 I noticed a piece of rubber missing on the inside of my track where the middle rear idler rolls which left fabric exposed.
I later noticed that there was rubber from the track adhered to the middle rear idler as you can see in the pictures. For some reason like the track not...
Well, you have to get to and from the back country. It is also very loud and much slower Speed, say 30 to 40 mph. Doesn't seem like you should have to wear ear plugs to save your hearing when wearing a good helmet on a stock sled?
The worst thing about my Mountain is the loudness of it. I think this is worse than the Ice build up problem. It is so loud that I have to wear ear plugs or go deaf in a short time. My exhaust and engine are stock and the exhaust is not cracked. I think it is engine noise or could be also track...
Anyone else still waithing for the 19 tooth top gear, or am I the only one? My dealer keeps calling Yamaha about the gear and Yamaha keeps telling them it is back ordered. How rare can these gears be??? :letsnow:
Since it is showing a higher speed than your are going maybe it is also racking up more miles than your are going. If it does it would show higher miles at resale time making your sled worth less. Anyone check the accuracy of the odometer? :letsnow:
The pictures are very cool so please don't stop posting them. Just don't answer people who criticize how your are riding. No matter what we do there is always someone who will find fault with it or tell us how we should live, most have good intentions. nuff said, Again GREAT pictures. ;)! ;)...
Don't you think that it will make your engine overheat? Looks like it will restrect the air flow a lot. I covered the grill on a truck once to keep the bugs out of the radiator and it made the truck run a lot hotter
There is actually 4 of those deflectors on the GT, two by the knees and one on each side of the head light. I was wanting to put them on my Mountain Lite until my dealer told me $35.00 each. $35 X 4 = $140. I am going to wait till I get a good ride and maybe just buy better cloths if needed.
I was looking at the front of my Mountain lite and noticed the radiator it just begging to have a stick stuck through it if you happen to crash though some brush. I am thinking of building guard for it but haven't started yet. Anyone else have the same idea?
