I have an 07 Attak GT with just over 5200 miles on it. Today after a ride it didn't want to stay in reverse. Every time i tried it would back up a few feet then start to grind. Once i got it in the garage i put it on a stand and spun the track. No problems in forward but when i try reverse it...
They suggest to pour a tea spoon of oil into each cylinder then turn the machine over with out having the spark plugs installed. Gives the cylinder walls a nice coating of oil. I have done it the last two seasons and will again this year when my season ends.
I own a 07 attak gt and i hate the fact that if i do any boondocking and don't imediately clean out the air box when i get home it freezes up and i get a code 20. Due you mountian guys have this similar problem or are your air boxes set up differently for deep snow? If not have you come up with...
Why would yamaha not put these in from stock if they make their sleds run that much better, is there a chance that the can harm or lower the life of the engine? You think they would run the best possible plugs for the best performance.
The guys i saw where just riding apex's but they were asking for a spot to test their sleds where they could run at least 100mph for a mile or so. It was funny because one guy had arrived from Japan when we had a blizzard hit with temps as low as -55C and he said he wanted to go back to Japan...

I'm having a problem with a code 20, i've taken my airbox off and thawed it out in the house reinstalled it and still a code 20. My next step was to take the sled to my brothers heated garage for the night. If that does not work it will be off to the dealer. Has anyone else had a code 20, and...
Was out riding the other day and crossed a lake that was blown in with lots of snow. Today when i went to go for a rip noticed code 20 was on instrument panel, code 20 is for low air pressure. So i opened up the air box and it was full of snow and ice. Is there any way of not getting so much...
