Thanks for the tips guys. It doesn't need the dipstick. The clip on the plug got smashed in a previous accident and doesn't lock on the dipstick. I did find the two blink code fix though. It was one of the connectors on the hot grips that came unhooked. All's good now.

I've got an 03 RX1 and it is showing the yellow triangle blinking two flashes and the engine icon comes on when it blinks. Does anybody have a list of the codes for this model. It has a broken plug on the oil tank dipstick and I'm wondering if thjat is what it is reading.

Never ran a supercharger but the pulleys do control the boost. You probably will have to run a certain amount of race fuel or put a head shim in it to get the compression down if running at sea level. Better ask around.

I don't think that there would be enough clearance underneath the pan to the bottom cover. Also if you had a bottom impact it could break off causing catatsrofic engine failure.

When you pull it apart keep everything in the right order. Take pictures or make a drawing of where each spacer and washer goes. You'll have to loosen the track so just count how many turns you back it off and retighten the same amount and you should be good to go. Also loosen the nut on the...
The factory unit (if you can still get one ) came with some expandable inserts and the installation tool so you bolted it on and were able to remove it for oil changes.

I wouldn't be running without a skid plate. Do you see those two posts on each side of the drain plug ? If you hit a rock and break one of those off all the oil runs out of the bottom and you blow the engine up.

I would jack that sled up in the air and put some blocks under the skis and then pull the bottom cover and look underneath to see where the oil is coming from. If you have a skidplate that has to come off first.
