I don't think that there would be enough clearance underneath the pan to the bottom cover. Also if you had a bottom impact it could break off causing catatsrofic engine failure.

I have one of the drain valves on my Duramax truck. It works great but not enough room to install on an Apex, I tried .

I have a fram sure drain on my motorcycle, never saw the need on my sleds.

I have a Stahlbus drain valve on my Viper. It has a ball check and a cap, not a lever like the Fumoto valve. I run a Stahlbus valve on my 14 F-150 Ecoboost truck as well.
