I have a 2017 RTX. Picked up a used Low sport windshield from a 2014.
As you can see in the pictures, the 2014 sport shield has an ear with a mount hole coming down on each side and my 2017 oem does not have this mount location.

I have 2017 viper RTX. I have searched Roll over valve delete but all results seem to be for Sidewinder.
Anyone with a viper done the roll over delete? It just seems to be a poor design to me and wondering if its as bad as I expect.
I know this is an old post but I have a question. I am upgrading to the parts as listed by Cannondale above.
Will the stock lower bushing in the shock on my 2017 rtx se fit on the new steel shaft or do i need to replace that bushing with something else?

On my previous sleds I used one rig designs ice scratcher mounts. I notice they only list them for 137" viper. Anyone know if these will work on 129" viper?

I have replaced the drive shaft bearing with BOP bearing, replaced 2 relays with BOP sealed bearings. I have ulmer chaincase bushing in stock but un decided if I will replace imediately or wait till spring. The Eng oil and chaincase...
Regardless of the negativity, I started this thread to get some positive feedback from current owners. I thank all of you that gave valid concerns and suggestions.
After sifting through all the info, hete is where I have ended up.
Going to hopefully make a deal on a 2017 rtx se in the next couple days. Im interested to know, will I need to upgrade the upper gear in the chaincase and if so, with what. Aldo is there a concern with the reverse shift fork pads? Thanks for all the advise.
From what I have read, there was an ecu reflash released in 2019 to address cold start issues. Can any of confirm if you are still seeing difficult cold starts after that flash?
Thanks fast 600. Im noticing that I am now at a point that I am no longer using the polaris to its full potential so hopefuly it wont be a big downgrade.
