    apex keeps stalling

I have an 07 apex gt with an excell exhaust and ram air. It keeps wanting to stall especially when it warms up and after long high speed runs. Thought it might be the throttle position sensor so I changed that but still doing it. Tried turning the idle speed up but still didn't help. I have a...

    Looking at new skis

Razors are awesome. They give a bit more floatation over stock and handle great. Very durable too.

    Cracked Rail

A friend of mine is a welder and has done 2 rails on my sxr, 2 on my srx, 2 on my rx1, and 2 on my apex. Never had a problem with any of them after but he does good work and is very meticulous. But yes done properly they will last a long long time.

Snowtrackers on water. Handle the same?

My 07 Rtx works great on water seems like it would go forever. Have easily done 500-600 foot stretches. Can even slowly let off the gas let her slow down then crack her open pick up the skis and speed up. My 06 Rtx was not nearly as good though didnt keep the skis off as well and would start to...

    Drop brackets

i have already added about a 1/2" to 3/4" of hifax to the tunnel protectors but i'm still having issues. i do alot of high speed wot lake running so i'm sure your right about the track ballooning at high speeds. and i'm sure hard braking at those speeds would do it too as the track wants to keep...

    Drop brackets

cool thanks i'll try timber. I'm not looking for much I run excell exhausts on my 2 apexes and i'm having issues with the studs hitting the mid pipe. so i'm just looking to drop it a half inch to an inch because whatever i drop it down i will gain in clearance between the studs and exhaust. i'm...

    40 miles on new slides

i installed oversized oem polaris wheels all over and larger rears. they are off a 79 srx i believe 7.5 inches instead of 7 inches and added a marginal wheel kit to the bend on the rail. i can easily get 4000 plus kms on a set and even when i change them they still have a little ways to go and...

Mono skid faster than pro active?

hey Darren i never had a chance to run it in good conditions we got a bunch of snow right before i put the 23 gear in so the lake was no good anymore for speed runs. not sure what to tell ya. it definately pulls harder off the line and in the midrange though. it didn't feel like it lost anything...

    Clutch spring choices

i guess slowing upshift wouldn't be bad might put the power to the ground a little slower helping it to keep from spinning. and a quicker backshift is always nice for riding in the twisties. maybe i'll give it a try and see how it works.
