thank you Allen for the info, we did mountain skis on the nytros with good results and these skis seem to be along the same lines with out breaking the bank. I'll check part numbers on the rubbers, but shimming them is easy to do also.
I run a 1.6 ICE COBRA on a viper, the track itself hooks up good on trails and does work decent on off trail. The little stud help on ice , more control than a rubber track , but not like good studs. Over all I'm happy with the track and the performance it provides .
For Yamaha to start the program so early, turbo's should've been delivered by December in my opinion. To me it like snow checking a sled, I would like it delivered before the snow is on the ground... So I can tinker with it!
I hope they get the turbo kits out quick, ordered in September, received two set back dates, kinda frustrating seeing snowmobile season only last so long for some of us. Keep posting updates on who receives them.
all this stuff is great ideas but i didn't see the hungry sales man approach most these guys are paid on units sold with a bonus for xxxx amount soldd that month you need to find the sales man that is just short of his bonus at the end of the month he'll make any deal happen ---good luck
i just installed drivers my self on a nytro and sound like you need to measure twice from the same end of the drive shaft . your drivers are probaly correct on center but to the left or right on the shaft. the only other thing to look at is the bearing on the sppedo side is seated correctly...
oh this is good stuff who cares about the economy--- everbody will still find money for toys and the manufactures know this there will be new options every year and we will buy!!!
just traded in a 06 nytro for a 09 rtx nytro, guess i'm a aggressive rider i love the o9 nytro spend the money on a 09 it's lighter,faster,nimbler and colder but what a gas to beat on , the only thing i'm going to change is the windshield to the grampa version and revavle the fox floats
i recommend the 12mm bar ,set the fox floats at 50 to 55 psi ,and pull the limmiter strap up one hole ,and it seems to handle the corners much better sometimes even get the rear end loose...loose is fast just ask cole trickle lol
only blue i did install protectors on mine in the front half of the tunnel..i still have the HOLE in the back half of the tunnel..i was lookig at closing off the tunnel friday and i did notice that the studs did mark up the very back.. soo if i close up the HOLE i will have to extend the...
