18-42 Gearing work good for above 10,000 ft it pull great all the way to the top. On the first trip out the gearing was stock and it just would not pull towards the top.I have a 07 and just waiting for the mc express to go on. Would it be best to put on 500 miles on before the turbo go on. Snow...

I use window sceen under all off the hood vents . I ride in North Dakota and make several trips out to Cookie City and it works for us. Cheap fix.
I live in Devils Lake and had the same problem last year with my sled with the same setup. Do you have have the rubber flap from you stock air box on. If not you may want to put it back on.
Powder Blue have you change your jetting for mountain riding, what jets are you using above 8000 ft and what carb spring is working the best for you .

ECP K&N KITS
Powder blue did you notice any increase in your track speed while climbing with the ecp kit our do you feel it would be best to leave it with the stock air box and with the stock jetting. The sled is great at 1500 ft. I ran it last year in a nontraction drag race on the lake...
First time on this web site.I live North Dakota and only get out west 3 times a year. Just would like to know if anyone has tried or experimented with jetting for the ecp k&n filter kits above 8,000 to 11,000 ft. This is a great site for the boys in blue.
