Anyone out there checked to see what the gearing in the 07' Apex is yet? From what I hear from people that rode the Proto, it pulls way harder? Last year we played with my buddies 06' gearing, stock and tried gearing up 1 tooth on the top gear. We couldn't get real consistant Rpm from the bottom of the mountain on the trails to the top in the powder (We tried lots of clutch combos). When I say consistant, I mean we were getting HUGE fluctuations as much as 800 Rpm 
If you softened the clutching at the top so it would rev on the top of the mountain in the powder, it would way over rev at the bottom on the trail. At the end of the year we put in a 19 tooth on the top and this thing seemed to really come alive. It now holds the Rpm with in 200Rpm from the bottom of the mountain to the top in the powder and seems to pull way harder. Anyone else experince this?

20-40 gearing the 07 is the same as the 06.Rumor is that they did a little remappiung on the fuel.People that I've talked to ssaid the 07's where sanppier during the demo rides also.

18-42 Gearing work good for above 10,000 ft it pull great all the way to the top. On the first trip out the gearing was stock and it just would not pull towards the top.I have a 07 and just waiting for the mc express to go on. Would it be best to put on 500 miles on before the turbo go on. Snow Fever I called you last winter about gearing for and 06.

I am running 22-40. Had my mcxpress put on after only 40 miles.

Thanks guys for the info. We are starting to get snow here now so we should be riding in a couple weeks. We didn't get to do much testing last year after the gear change so it will be interesting to see what really happens.
