I need a little help setting up my suspension up since I had the suspension relocate done. I'm getting a lot of transfer to the front when I let off the throttle. It's also extremely darty in hard pack. It's a 2008 RTX, front limiter is all the way out and not sure where the front skid shock is...
so I went for a ride with my brother in law yesterday, a run we do every year that is usually about 100 miles door to door. Everything went great there but I kept hearing this funny sound from my clutch side, a little sounding similar to ratcheting ( best way I can describe it ). On our way...
i just wanted to give a shout out to my buddy Yamahadan. He recently installed a 128" relocate for me and did a couple other things for me. I'm happy with the way it turned out and can't wait to try it. I've also included a pic of the screen kit I made and the placement of my temp gauge...Dan...
bought a clutch kit from him, came within a week packaged well withEverything wrapped and bagged separatly. He answered every question I asked and was great to deal with.....good guy in my books!
Anyone using the original style heel clicker weights? I have Drag n Flys currently but recently picked up a couple sets of the original weights. I also have a set of Dalton DPYR 58 weights if anyone has those as well. I am just thinking about trying something different this year.
Anyone running these? I'm curious about engagement rpms and weight configuration...I'm currently running Turks black spring set up with the DnFs...thinking of adding 14.5mm rollers.
I am running an 08 Nytro RTX with full mods, this year I changed to 22/38 gearing. I am running Turks Black spring set up and with the gear change I'm only pulling 8500 rpms. I know I have to remove some tip weight but my problem is I need to lose roughly 2grams ( being 1g is roughly 200 rpm )...
Anyone ever trail ride with chissle tooth studs? I run 144 studs now and am thinking of changing up and running a combo...96 magabites and 48 chissle tooths...just for poops and giggles on the lake.
Ok fellas, how do they stack up? I wasn on another forum where a fella was kinda knocking 4 strokes and said there wasn't anything that had the grunt of the Mach Z 1000..he then compared a couple or Yammi touring sleds. I said the Apex was a good sled that could compare...most guys thought I was...
Just wanted to wish Tom, all the mods and everyone else out there a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....I hope every has a safe and happy holiday...hopefully alot of the white stuff falls ( pretty green so far in my area ) so we can get riding... ;)!
So for the last 2 seasons I've been testing Hindle full exhaust...the first one was tough as a couple of guys didn't think this system would live up to it's claims...Well I'm glad to say that it has with the help of top notch tuner!
When we went to Dynotech the results were good but not good...
Anybody know the torque specs for the front suspension...I'm putting my upper balls joints and front spindles back on...just need to know if there are any special torque specs or just tighten'em up as tight as I can get'em without a torque wrench.
Not sure what mag I saw them in, but has anyone used them? It looks like they have a cover that goes over the filter, and was wondering how strong it might be...to avoid the problem with the steel ribs on the belly pan from rubbing through or cutting the filter...not that I've had that issue...
Ok Apex guys....Hindle is designing a system for you guys, for both the 06 to 10 guys and the 2011 guys. On the 2011 they will be eliminating EXUP...I know this will spark huge debate and arguments...not why I posted it, just passing on the info. I'm not sure if I can get pics up but if I...
Hey guys, I just bougt a used skid plate and went to mount it today..I don't have any instructions. My questions are..what drill bit do I use for the 4 rear bolts?...should the 4 rear bolts have nuts or do they just go in blind....seems that they go into the oil pan area...I'm kinda worried...
Is there a company on here or out there called "Lake Effect" that make risers? I saw them somewhere on here and the name rings a bell....they looked nice...just looking for a web site or any info on them. thanks
Here's a few pics I took at the pics of the last CSRA race yesterday. what a wicked sled, sounded awsome...it was a crowd favorite for sure as it flew by the stands...Hayden got the holeshot in heat one but broke something in his front suspension half way through...still managed a 2nd and then...
