Working on your sled with your son is even better. Takes like 8x as long to do anything....but time well spent. Start him young Wolf my boys were both avid snowmobilers before 6months old. Now at 2 & 1, I can't keep them off it. Or the quad. Or the bike.
I may have created monsters!
The first outfit to offer a complete solution with a muffler under the tunnel & a piece of aluminium bent up to close off the back all ready to fit a stock tunnel... Will make some $$$.
They work fine, just don't give the same traction on hardpack as a "trail track". Like mentioned earlier, high speeds usually don't work out so well with low snow conditions.
Yeah, like Tapex_07 said. It's better but still not 100%. With the 180 kit though, what it lacks for traction - it makes up for with track speed. Gets me into as much trouble as I care for.
I'll run mine till I see some damage - I don't seem to have a lot of luck with tracks last couple of...
More like 140hp @12psi...as per MCX.
Lots of lag, hard starting when cold & poor bottom end (results of the lowered compression)- personal experience.
Stock track is super disapointing - too soft & too narrow.
Can be fun in the right conditions though. If you can keep her spooled up.

Running at 3800 & 8000 in a 2010, 162se. Very impressed, eats 800cc sleds for lunch all day long. ;)!
I have the 180 on a 2010. Very happy so far.
Uphill (a pretty good one at 8400ft) in 12" of fresh on top of 5ft base I get 52-58 MPH track speed.
Skis hovering about 10" above the snow. Takes me places that I've never been before. ;)!
Very responsive, seamless transition coming into...
OK, I found some info on #81. Handwarmer trouble.
I'll check my grips - some say should be 7-16 ohms resistance. Not sure if that's the same for the 2010 or not.
Still would be great to have the whole list so a guy would know weather to keep riding or shut er down when a code pops up.
