hey guys
hoping you can answer some questions for me
I ride in SK where we are at about 1700 ft and also out west in REVY and GOLDEN, from 4500 at staging and 7500 up top
I like to boondock and tree ride, not concerned avout the highmark
I have an 08 RTX converted to an 09 RTX
it has a 144 x 15 1.75 track
I am thinking about the TS or HOLZ skid and going up to a 151-153 rails
or i might keep my current set up...still not sure
wanting to put the MCX 180 kit in
my questions are:
1. will this kit be ok for riding here AND out west?
2. i dont know a lot about this kit, i hear no head shim and pump gas?
3. reputable dealer to install FAIRLY close to me (right now leaning towards slave lake Yamaha or walt healy in Calgary)
4. i literally know ZERO about turbos and wrenching on a 4-st, coming off a 2 st doo (REV) - is this kit or can this kit be a turn and go type of deal, if installed correctly? I know my way around a wrench, just not on these sleds
anyone currently running this kit at both elevations?
how does it run, how do you like it?
this is what i am saving for this summer
sorry if this is a dual post or if these questions have been answered somwhere else
still new to the nytro and the whole 4 stroke idea...so far LOVING IT!
thanks for your time and help

I believe theflamanguy and doo_man on here both have the 180 kit on their Nytros. They are from around here and ride both elevations. You might try checking with them.

At 1000' and less with no head shim my 5lb Ulmer nytro has been great. Over 1000 miles so far on 91-93 octane.
