    Ski's for the XTX???

Whitty, You may want to check to see if the ice chunks caused any damage to the toop of your front pivot arm. Take a look at this link http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=67479 .... Maybe an ice chunk caused these track spacer brackets to break off???

    ICE SCATCHERS ON XTX

Re: ICe scratchers Daranello, I'm riding the XTX. You are correct as to the alignment to the upper wheels. I'm embarassed to say I didn't notice, when I installed them. I can say there are NO witness marks indicating the wheels & the scratchers have interacted. I will recheck the the...

Hyfax Gibby... I wrestled the old hyfax out, (thru the track window)and got the new one 90% on when it came off the rail (yes, I went slow & cautiously) it came off at the rear. (kick-up point) So I pulled the skid out. Next time...I'll just pull the skid to start with.

    XTX Bag from skins

XTX Skins bag It's 14" crosscar, 12" fore/aft, 4" tall. It works great! But everything inside will get wet !!! Water comes in from the the exhaust at the bottom & melting snow on top. I relocated the tail light to the rear of the sled.

    09 xtx...my quick take

XTX suspension I've put almost 1000 miles on mine so far. I can't begin to make the suspension work as I'd like it to. I've adjusted both Front & rear preload, compression & rebound. The entire system is HARSH! I've also inquired with several suspension shops...none of which had any "seat time"...

    Nytro XTX /MTX

Tall guy seats I have a new XTX coming (I used to ride Cats). I have raised the seats on all my sleds for years. I already bought a Nytro seat from a wreck. I'll raise it about 3-4 inches (75-100mm). I'm 6'4" with 36" inseams on my pants. The taller seats take a lot of stress off my back &...

10 % ethanol gas. how to store sled for summer?

A better question might be: - How is the water getting into the sleds fuel tank? The water usually comes from condensation in the air (in the fuel tank) If you store your sled with a FULL fuel tank (no air). There should be no condensation (water) in the tank to get absorbed into the...

How to tow a downed sled???

I've hauled many a sled out of the woods (All brands). I believe the older Arctic Cat tow strap is the best I've every seen. It has 2 nylon straps. #1 is a double ended strap (loop on both ends). Which you loop around the "towing" sled rear bumper. And a second strap #2 which you feed through...

I'm new to Totallyamaha. I've riding green for the last 15 years (Yamaha before that). It takes awhile on a new site to find out who really knows what they're talking about & who just likes to make posts. I spend a lot of time reading, but don't make many posts. It took some time on A-chat &...
