’05 RX1 Heat Exchanger....

Hi,
I have read and read, looking if I can add a heat exchanger to my short track ’05 RX1.
Everything I see is about the Mountain or the Warrior.
Can someone help and guide me with this?
Part numbers and any info would be greatly appreciated.

yes you can add a rear heat exchanger to your shorty. call Kevin at port yamaha and he can set you up with one. port yamaha is a site sponsor and they are listed at the bottom of the main page.

have you checked your coolant mix % yet? i have the rear cooler and was still haveing overheating issues. coolant read -45f but when they checked it with the sight tester they found that it was good till -65f. most 05 had this problem from what i have seen on here.
