03 & 04 rx1 differences????

I am currently looking for my first four stroke, Can some one tell me the differences between the 03 and 04 rx-1's.

Supposedly there are about 170-something upgrades/changes made to the '04 from the '03. I find that to be a crazy number, but i've read it multiple times and am not willing to argue about it!! theres anywhere from different rings, 5lb weight reduction, upper A-arms made of lightweight aluminum, the exhaust system lightened, new clutch sliders, seat changes all the way to a different style gas cap/ breather system. The list is too long. Both great machines

Did they lower the engines in 04 for a lower center of gravity?

Besides the weight, there were some very important changes:
- longer links
- increased size of swaybar from 10 mm to 11 mm
- locking collar on jackshaft

swaybar is defenitley an important one! especially if you have an apex seat. Way too much body roll. I have to damn near hang off the side of the sled to make a decent turn without tipping! That will be the next thing i buy. ha

No nothing that drastic. The biggest changes were the jump to the 05 RX. It is the best package of all 3 yrs and still requires a bit of work but has the best motor and definitely the best suspension.

Thanks for the input, I am currently on the look for one but with the lack of snow I can wait for the perfect one.
