I am new to the four-stroke world but am going to start shopping for a new sled and am looking at RX-1s and I'm wondering if someone could explain to me the general differences between the RX1, RX1 Warrior, and RX1 ER. Are the differences in the track length 121" or 136" and does ER mean electric start and reverse? Any other big differences between the models? Thanks in advance.
RX1's are 121" tracks.
RX1 Warriors are 136" track
the ER means reverse
they all have electric start, no pull start.
an LE sled is the Limited Edition, which i think only came in silver (?) the color is the only difference.

The color of the LE changed from year to year. It was silver in 03.

Is there a big difference in the suspension package between the RX1 and the RX1 Warrior? Was one noted to be better for rough trail riding? I assume the short track was probably sold as the trail machine and the Warrior was marketed towards being a crossover sled? I ride both out west but I also ditch bang in Iowa and I am just trying to figure out what would be the best way to go.

If you do any amount of off trail riding you will want the 136" track IMHO.

If you get a totally stock RX, get the Warrior, they also come standard with Reverse. I would also look for one with an aftermarket suspension in it. Especially if you are coming from a Polaris or Arctic Cat. Otherwise, be prepared to spend some time and money getting it to work. If you ditch bang, then you will want a diff. skid in it - you will break a Yamaha skid if you push it too hard - BTDT many times.
