Well we got a blast of snow here in NE PA and I thought I break out my sled. It' an 03 rx1 with reverse. Went to load it on the trailer and nothing but smoke. Switched out the belt, movement. I did notice one thing and don' know what to do. The axial free play on the secondary is about 3/8" Looking at the book, it says .05. Not even close! The 14mm bolt outside the sheave is tight as hell. So I'm thinking maybe to much movement in and out is no good. Looks like it's only on the sheave side collar sliding in and out. Anyone ever deal with this. How do I get back to spec? What else can I look at?
Appreciate the help
Thanks

That's normal, nothing to worry about.

if a sled has sat for a bit, it is a good idea to spin it up on the stand before taking it for a ride. gets everything moving easyer and is not as hard on the belt.

Rear clutch floats I would pull front clutch apart and clean and inspect
