All, Looking at buying an 2003 RX1 ER with Olins rear shocks and about 6,000 miles. Anything special I should look for with this sled. Exhaust donuts, bogie wheels...... I am going to see it monday. Pictures look good, always stored inside.
Thanks Blue

See if has updated links and sway bar in the front. See if it's had the updated jackshaft locking collar and bearing installed.

Not sure if this '03 is the only sled your looking at, but... I have got an '05 for sale right in South China about an hour away from Bangor. Check out the link to see if you might be interested.

look through the classifieds here, there was a guy with a 04 with ohlins and an m10 with ohlins in the 4500 range, just below you .
you dont want to buy an 03, the 04 and up are way better, 04 with a skid or an 05 are what you want.

Pulled the string, Now own 4 stroker!
Guys I went a looked at the sled yesterday and was in great shape! It has the following updates:
Front sway bar, new Ripsaw 1.25" X 121 with 96 pics down center, Bearings were changed out when track was done, Olins upgraded rear shock, Reverse, tank and rear bags, cover etc.....
Only thing it will need is new battery.
I couldn't refuse and got it for a good fair price.
Looking forward to picking up soon and getting her ready for the season!
I will post some pics later

Nice, everyone warned me about the oil consumption on my 03', but after a few sea-foam treatments, the consumption is like a half a quart every 1000 miles, which is nothing. Enjoy the new sled, sounds like it has some good upgrades with the track and swaybar, which are a must. The weak point is the skid, you might want to upgrade. Read up on here, lots to learn. Thats how i did it. Think snow!!
make sure the jackshaft update has been done. find an 05 or newer seat toot sweet. that 03 seat is a brick.
great sled though.
you should run sea foam or ring free in all sleds.
if you keep those skis, bring them up and we can put some offset duallies on them. you wont believe how good it will handle.
There is a few other things you will want to do to it to make it more reliable, ill be talking to you in the future im sure.
