I want to replace my stock track, hacksaw 1”. I ride NY on groomed trails. Can anyone with this tank recommend a 121” that gets traction like the I e Ripper etc? Also what’s the height that won’t take out the coolers? 1” or 1.22 or 1.25? There’s a few available but I’d like to get input from some who have owned this sled. RX1 LE ER. Thanks for the input!

Then you want an ice attack and you will have to add protection if you have a rear exchanger. Should have rails in it already to protect exhaust .I was gonna check out the pre picked belt. Already has those little studs in it.

Dug up these old pics but if you search the RX-1 forum, there should be post going into more detail but you essentially want to add 1/4" strips of aluminum to your existing protectors (highlighted in yellow) and possibly the front ones as well:It’s a stock 03 Rx LE er. Do I need it? What did you add for protection? How did it work? Thanks

As to whether or not you need them, might be able to get by with stock protectors if running a pre-studded track but I definitely added them when I switched a to 1.25" track and used traditional studs; hence the need for the front protector. Mine does not have a rear heat exchanger but did have to add protection to the crossover tube when I extended the Expert-X suspension to a 136".

my 05 rx war with the ice ripper i had to add protectors to the rear rx mtx cooler as it was getting scarred up from track ballooning. took them off when brother installed ripsaw II into it after he bought it.
