03's a bit rouhg riding with the old pro action suspension and the (some) motors had a bit of an oil consumption problem. $2750 isn't a bad price and the miles are low if he took care of it it is a deal. My 03 has 14,000 miles on it with 2 blown motors, changed the rear suspension, 13mm sway bar, Ohlin front shocks and simmons skis.
If its your first 4 stroke its a cheap way to find out if you like them you'll always be able to sell it for what you paid for it and upgrade later. 05's were a much improved machine if you can find one.

I have a 04 Warrior the long track (136) of the RX-1 (121) I love it now you need to look for cracks in the W arm on the front of the skid there has been problem with them but I haven't had one.
As Yamadog said the 03 did have and oil burning issue but it was about 1 quart for 1000 miles (I think) not sure on that. For the price Yamadog has another good point if you don't like it you can sell it for what you paid. But for that price I would jump on it I paid $4500 for mine 2 years ago.

Regarding the suspension, 31 or no, they're a great platform for a suspension conversion.....

The dip stick is in the oil tank on the right side of the motor in front of the brake. You can see the tank there is a plug on the top unplug it and unscrew the dip stick out of the tank.

If you look over in the garage section you will find a lot of different swaps. I'm putting a Ski-Doo SC3 from a Adrenalin 800 (121) getting custom tip-up extensions to make it a 136 plus a few other mods to it. Rockmiser did this to his 05 Warrior last year and he loves it it all depends on you knowledge and $$$$ how much you want to do to it.
P.S. not trying to do a Mods job but you might want to put in your location. (Site Rules)

RX1
I bought mine last year, had about 6000 miles on it and gave around 3,000 for it in july( summer price) Mine has some good upgrades:
Ohlins rear shock, Ripsaw track, 184 pics, Dooly carbides. I added 3 inches of foam to seat, ECP intake kit with Evac this year.
I came off stock Viper and SRX and to compare the ride my RX1 handles the bumps much better! It took awhile to get it to corner, ( went back to straight single carbides and did the ski shim) and now it handles well!
I have thought of goining back to an SRX but not for an every day ride. I ride my viper on the local narrow trails but use the RX1 on the wider state trials most of the time. Only downfall now is mine does use about 1 QT of oil every 700 miles or so. I bought it to enter into the 4 stroke world and liked it so much I bought an 05 RX1 warrior this summer! Next summer I want to move up to an Attack! That's my 2 cents!

You will love the fuel mileage with the 4 stroke I get around 15-18 mpg depends on my thumb position. I have seen 20 only once but that was putting the trails with my 4 yr old son on the sled with me.
