04 thumb warmer

sometimes my thumb warmer works then it shuts off then not working for the rest of the trip with the odd time turning on to the hottest setting with out my doing anybody else with this problem

Sounds like a bad connection. You can check that under the Handlebar Pad. While you are there, you may want to measure the resistance across the thumb warmer's connection to see if it is less than 10 ohms. Greater than 10 ohms may indicate a bad warmer.

You should be seeing some error codes showing up on the meter? Are you seeing these? Are you seeing any other symptoms of other problems?
