Has anybody found a good set of skid plates for the 05 Kodiak? It seems the manufactures havent caught up to the new independent rear in full force. Any thoughts?

I found a great source for skid plates. Good prices and shipping.

I would highly reccomend the Riccochet skids. I got em and they've been worth thier weight in gold. Price can't be beat either.

Check out www.aluminumproducts.com they have nice skids. I have a full set under my 05 450 and have not had any problems with them.

Topper,
Did you have to add wheel spacers or a lift kit to get those 14" 27s on the 2005 Kodiak 450? I have the same machine (stock) and am looking to put 27" Mudlites on Type 5s, but 12", not 14".
Thanks.
