I have a 05 RS Vector with a blown motor. Is it possible to swap out a 05 rx1 motor on that sled?

Two completely different engines. So, I'm going to say no.

X2 considering the Vector is a 3 cylinder motor and the RX is a 4 cylinder motor. Now, could it be done? I suspect anything can be done with the right amount of determination but would probably be best to locate a similar 3 cylinder motor if you were hoping to plug-n-play.

Thanks guys, I figured as much with the 2 different sizes it would be quite the project. Just seen a few more RX1 being parted out right now compared to the 3 cylinder motor.

it could probably be done but i would make sure to have the donor sled there to make sure that you have enough parts to do it. i am looking for a rolling chassis to attempt this as i have a wrecked 04 rx with a good motor.
