05 rx-1 exhaust mod??

Just curious if anyone has links or pictures to gut out stock exhaust ,,,what to actually cut out ? and open bottom or top of muffler? thanks

if you are doing the muffler still in the sled you have to do the top. You cut out the crossover tubes inside the muffler. Then weld the 2 layer skin back closed. I have done quite a few if you have a decent welder it takes about 2 hours start to finish.

To honest there is no gain in HP and the sound is not as great as a GYT R Dun pipe from Hauck and the sound really burbles in your helmet.
