I just got back from a trip to the mountains and am very happy with the new sled except for the rear suspension in one condition(trails). I had an 03 and it was not the best over the moguls but my 05 must have a bad rear shock or something. On the first day of riding the cam was set at medium from the factory and I would bottom out on every mogul and it would kick back hard. So the next day I set the cam to high and this almost elimanated the rear from bottom out but she still kicks back like a mule. Don't get me wrong the new suppension worked great in the deep, but when we hit the trails it was terrible. When you are parked and you grab on to the rear bumper and push up and down it feels pretty soft and recoils rather easy, so I'm thinking that I have a bad rear shock. What does everyone else think of the new 05Mt suspension.

The RX1M05 has pretty much the same suspension as all the others (save RX1 monoshock), except its longer and has curved rails. That proactive suspension is said to be really good in the bumps, so you probably do have an issue with the shocks. I would discuss it with the dealer.

Does the 05 RXM have the same set up as 05 Vector M??? I love the Vector's suspension. Does anyone know if you can buy it to fit an 03'?

The suspension is not calibrated for moguls, first priority is off-trail (hill climb, boon docking). Take it easy over the bumps until you get into the powder?

Well,

If it is the same as the suspension on the Mountain Vector I would say that I love mine in the bumps. I mean really love it. I was riding the bumps like I usually ride my 03' RX, standing up and forward. Got too tired and sat down and was really surprised that it was smoother. Speed up, slow down, corner.....all very smooth in the bumps. I would say you have something wrong. Check your anti-bottoms. My spring is set at M and I am 220lbs + gear and I am not having bottoming problems. Front sping preload loose, center shock is 2 clicks I think, and limiter were almost all the way out.

The sled will be back on thursday from west yellowstone. My buddies are bringing it back with them. I will then take a look at it. I am pretty sure something is wrong like a couple of you have suspected. I know that it is not a mogul basher but it is really bad.

Thanks for all the input
