05 RX1 front drive axle replacement

Has anyone else broke the drive front axle on 05 rx1? are they same apex?

Broke mine! Can't tell you if an Apex will work.

How difficult is it to remove drive sprockets from old broken axle & install on new axle.

RX1 axle will work in a Apex.
I have an Apex axle in my RX1 worked great

How difficult is it to remove drive sprockets from old broken axle & install on new axle.

All you need is a press that will handle the length of the axle.
Press off the old drivers and pressthem back on the new axle

Yep mine broke in half.Right around 9000 miles.There was a thread on it, seemed right around 8000 to 10000 miles they were breaking.Not all though,there were a few exceptions.
