My 05 rx1 will not idle I started it up several times this summer and it stats ok but will nit even come close to an idle it dies. If you turn the choke of it dies even after it warms up.

Yep, you probably didn't STABALIZE your gas in the spring and have your sled in a poorly ventelated area? = SLUDGE/VARNISH

Agree with maxdlx... plugged pilots

+3 on plugged pilots. Mine were plugged when new and cleaning them made a great difference in idle quality.
I removed the whole rack from the sled to clean; but, recently I saw a post here that recommended loosening the carb mount screws and just rotating the whole rack up so that the bowls are toward the front. Sounded like easier access for cleaning could be gained without disconnecting everything and removing all of the carbs.

I remove the choke cable, loosen the screws on the
boots and pull the whole rack off. flip it upside down
on the right side of the sled leaving the throttle
cables on. lay a towel underneath and start pullin
bowls.

Could be pilots but could also be fouled plugs. I started mine up a few times first summer instead of stablizing the fuel and by the end of the summer it would barely run. First ride come winter it slobbered its way out of the garage and wouold die without the throttle open a might.
Took it for a ride and when I got back it purred like a kitten. Since then I stabilize with sea foam and I don't start it in the summer.

I stabilize the fuel and start in summer about once a month. I do ensure that it comes up to operating temp each time I start it. I have never had the carbs apart yet. Knock on wood.
