06,07 Yamaha apex reverse on a 04 rx1 mountain.

was wondering if anyone can tell me if a gearbox with reverse from a 2006 or 2007 apex fit my 2004 rx1 mountain?

It will fit. You may have to tap two holes for the parking brake caliper. The apex uses a smaller rotor so the parking brake caliper mount holes are different than the rx-1 cover. I think the apex covers have existing pilot holes in the cover already.
