Has anybody run the 06-10 apex single keel ski with semi aggressive snow trackers on a eps apex ? 2011 apex if that make any difference.
Is there any difference between the 06-10 skis?
Looking at a 2011 apex Se which has tuners skis on it, supposedly the owner of the sled told me the dealer he bought the sled from made him change the original 2011 skis to tuners but I’m not a fan of dual keel as they can push a bit in the corners in certain conditions or should I just run snow trackers on the tuners.
Thanks

Thanks Stubby Hungwell..
So I guess they just bolt on with out any modifications?
Yes back to the apex lol, bought a new 07 apex gt back in 06, did 24000 km on that sled without a problem fall of 2015 I decided to sell it and try a 2013 nytro, good times last two winters with it but now want to go back a try the eps apex. Just that it has tuners on it and I know they can push in the corners like my nytro did with the tuners.

Good to be back on the apex side lol..
So I ended up picking up the 2011 apex se with 4400 km, after reading all the great posts on here about the single keel skis and snow trackers I took off the tuners and put on a pair of Yamaha single keel skis which I had laying around, bought a pair of aggressive snow trackers.
Just came back from a 1100 km northern Ontario ride and wow what a trail setup.
Handles like it’s on rails is an understatement, I’ve never experienced a sled that handles and corners like this, love the power steering, zero feedback through the bars is awesome.
Any of you thinking of riding from Sault Ste. Marie US Canada border and head north don’t hesitate, we barely seen any sleds and the trails are in tip top shape, super flat and hard packed..
Thanks to everyone who posted their opinions on the snow trackers, i will never run without them..
