Hi, I'm not new to this site but because of email issues, I had to redo my account.
I can't seem to find a post on this, I'm sure it's on here but...
I'm wondering if someone can help me with all the bearing #'s in the chain case and the clutch side of an 06 Apex. Jackshaft, drive axle bearings. I'm replacing them all as there is around 8000+ miles on them, I do grease them every year but for peice of mind, I'm going to replace all of them. I did look at the microfiche and I'm getting conflicting numbers is why I'm asking for a little help I would just like to pre order them before I tackle the job. I'm pretty sure they're 6206's & 6205's Also Yamaha part #'s have 6205 and 6206 in them, are these the bearing sizes? (Example - 93306-20589-00) Drive axle bearing #/clutch side Thanks

I don't think that those no mean anything in the Yamaha microfiche. A 6206 is 52mm OD, 25mm ID and 15mm W. A 6206 is 52mm OD, 30mm ID and 16mm W. They both go on the jackshaft in the chaincase. If I remember correctly they are 6205's but don't quote me on that. Just the lower has one seal that goes on the chaincase side, not toward the outside. This keeps little metal particles out of the bearing, the seal seeps enough oil to keep it lubed. Hope this helps.
