06 apex gt bad e.c.u. and more

had sled into the dealer they trced to a bad e.c.u. had no lights ,taillights back up alarm. but sled would start . they switched e.c.u. from 07 apex and everything worked fine . they installed used one i bought from partshouse still 500 received old one back they wrote bad ground to relay. there was no power into the fuse box. was this correct? another problem I do not have mode working for suspension nothing appears on dash. is there fuse or relay and where? thx worried in seatle actually wis.

how many miles on sled when it broke,do you have the 06 bars with 07 & newer harness.also do you have GPS installed on sled,just wondering if your ECU went bonkers because of to much draw in places,not sure if you have these things on machine?? just a few questions thats all!

had sled in last year for handle bars update dont know if they put newer harness on should of they and why

well if they put differnt handle bars on(the 07' update) then it wouldnt matter as it would be done right but not much of a heat differnce(i'm told) so they used the new harness w/ the new bars then it wouldnt have anything to do w/ that part anyways. did the sled have a short from rubbing wires by any chance or check too much voltage thr a boost of the sled? just a couple od ideas

computers go bad all the time.. in all kinds of vehicals..

If they changed the computer and if fixed it.. they found the problem.. Unless they put the computer in and then found a wiring problem later.. Which i doubt because they are lucky enough to have other sleds laying around in which they can swap parts out to find problems quickly

That's easy...I bet you have a broken wire under there. Just solder back and put lots of tie wrap. Make sure that wire will not move, so that ice will have no chance to grab it.
