I have a 06 Apex GT and after a cruise it decided to take the night off... around 5500 rpms the engine kills. It's like you hit the kill switch quickly, everything dies (including headlights) and then just as fast it's back on again... and this happens multiple times. Their are no codes popping up, the TORS was bypassed (and then I reconnected it to see if it would make a difference, it didn't) and it idles fine. Has anyone ever experienced this...thinking it might be bad relay? Any help would be great, thanks! :4STroke:

Has the pod been off recently? Sounds like a loose cannon plug, or possibly dirty battery terminal connections IMO. You are loosing all electrical power by the sounds of things. Check the obvious things first before replacing things. I would take the pod off, check the connectors, remove the airbox and battery cover, then remove the battery terminal connectors and clean them. Then inspect the cables to include the grounding point where the negative lead attaches.

Thanks for the info. Me and a buddy spent about 2 hours this morning going through all the electrical connections, key switch, battery ground and even swapped the load relay out of his 06 Apex GT and we can't get the sled to replicate what it did last night; it did it after about 70 miles into my ride. I'm going to run it around for an hour or so in the fields and see if it just was a loose connection somewhere that we may have fixed when we tightened and checked everything (although nothing was loose or green). :o|
