View media item 1812So I really like my 06 Apex with almost 10k miles on it but last week my jackshaft bearing behind the secondary clutch failed and took out the housing.

Ive done alot of work maintaining this sled so would like to repair it.

My question is... Is this repairable?
I can't tell what it takes to replace the housing.

Thanks for any input.

anything can be repaired if needed. from looking at the parts fiche that part is not changeable without replacing that section of the frame. the easyest way to fix that is to get it built up with weld and get it line bored to hold the bearing and get a new snap ring groove machined in. the machinist might want to straighten the bore and use a sleeve to hold the bearing. either way will work. odds are though that they will need the jackshaft and chaincase pulled to do the work. price wise, i have no idea what they will charge you for this but i know getting a sleeve in a transport axle is about $400.00 canadian per spindle end with the sleeve.

For some reason the picture will not open for me. If it is the cast piece that is either riveted or bolted in check with Travis at BOP, he might be able to hook you up with one removed from a parts sled.
