Last night my wife an I went Riding and going through a section of trail my temp light came on . I shut down and checked coolant ,it was full and then looked at wifes sled and her gauge was only half way. It was only 6 degrees but all trials were ice with hardly any snow on them. So I fired up and ran in some power in field it was fine the rest of the night. One of the places we stopped a guy on a yamaha was tellling me they make a rear cooler that connects the coolant runner together. Is it worth it??

Yamaha offers a rear heat exchanger, instead of the crossover.
The mani thing to do is to check the mixture with a tester. Almost every Yamaha I've seen or heard of has a very strong anti-freeze content. You should check to be sure it's properly diluted with water.
