well brought my sled to the dealer yesterday, i was changeing my sliders and i saw that most of my track clips fell off
... one whole side had about 3 clips and the other side had about 6 i got about 1050miles on it..there going to put new track for free... but is this going to happen again i am going to put a fully cliped track this time they said it was heat, from hi speeds......this thing only hits about 108mph i had a 03rx1 with bender stage 2 turbo i hit 135mph
and no clips came off just lugs same track 1"1/4 ripsaw has anyone had this happen to them..
haveing no clips on this would kill my top speed?...if the sled was on flat ground you could not push it free on the snow by hand

I own a 2006 Attak and have same problem. Sled is currently torn apart and I am waiting on track clips. I am going to shorten the limiter strap one notch and bolt on the plastic caps in front of the rails and see what happens.

I think if u run oversize wheels the slides may not get a chance to heat up. I went that way last year and everything"s still good.

Replaced 22 clips this weekend. Also changed the slides and bolted the plastic slide caps on. Shortened the limiter strap one notch. I will post after I put some miles on this weekend and let you know if this helped the track clip issue on my '06 Attak.
